Chris established Lexton Consulting Ltd in September 2020.
He is a former Council Leader and Councillor of 20 years’ service. He has experience across a broad spectrum of local government portfolio areas and has held senior positions within regional growth boards and local government organisations.
With a professional career spanning over 30 years, initially training as an engineer he moved into sales and marketing. He has subsequently worked as a consultant, trainer, coach and mentor within large multi-national corporations and holds a real passion for individual development and enhanced performance.
As a former Local Government Association (LGA) Peer he played an active role within Sector Led Improvement (SLI) both as a lead member in peer reviews and as a mentor for senior councillors. Chris remains actively involved in the delivery of the LGA’s flagship Leadership Academy Programme.
