Lexton Consulting Ltd is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected when you provide information to us. This notice explains how we use personal data and how we protect your privacy and security. 

This statement sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you from our website (https://www.lextonconsulting.co.uk) ("Website"), or that you provide to us by other means or will be processed by us.

For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation 2021, the data controller for Lexton Consulting Ltd is the DPO. We must we comply with six data protection principles. These are there to protect you and make sure that we:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Website. This includes subscribing to our eNewsletter service or requesting further services and information. 
  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. 
  • We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.

To ensure we provide you with an efficient and effective service, we will sometimes need to share your information between departments within the company that support the delivery of the service you may receive.

To make sure we can deal with your request as efficiently as possible, you will need to include your current name and address, proof of identity (a copy of your driving licence, passport or two different utility bills that show your name and address), as much detail as possible regarding your request so that we can identify any information we may hold about you. This may include your previous name and address, date of birth and what company service you were involved with.

  • Lexton Consulting Ltd does not charge for making a subject access request. You are entitled to receive a copy of your personal data within one month of our receipt of your subject access request. 
  • The right of rectification: we must correct inaccurate or incomplete data within one month.
  • The right to erasure: you have the right to have your personal data erased and to prevent processing unless we have a legal obligation to process your personal information.
  • The right to restrict processing: you have the right to suppress processing. We can retain just enough information about you to ensure that the restriction is respected in future. 
  • The right to data portability: we can provide you with your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine readable form when asked.
  • The right to object: you can object to your personal data being used for profiling, direct marketing or research purposes.
  • You have rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling, to reduce the risk that a potentially damaging decision is taken without human intervention. 
  • The right to withdraw your consent to processing at any time.
